Pre-Planned stop
A nice stop on our way back from Grand Portage. By this time the rain had stopped and the sun was shinning on the falls as they came down to Lake Superior. This was one of three falls we planned on seeing on our trip from Knife River to Grand Portage and back. We are glad that it did not disappoint.

Always a nice stop
We always stop here when traveling up or down Highway 61. It is currently running high in May 2022 from the massive amount of snow and rain we have had this year. There is a larger parking lot right next to the falls and even a bathroom. Make sure you view the falls on both sides of the highway. And please, do NOT park directly on 61 and get out and take pictures like we saw one unintelligent person do in a dark pickup on Monday 5-23! So dangerous!
