    Easy to imagine
The house is restored in great detail and it easy to imagine life in the 50's in West Texas. What is hard to get your mind around is the fact that two presidents, a first lady and a couple of governors lived in this humble house. Do not breeze through the house with a brief visit, take time to wander!

Fans of retro will love this....
I stopped at this site in a recent road trip through west Texas. This is a home that was lived in by the Bush Family when George W was a young child. The house was built in 1939 and has been re-done quite charmingly in the decor of the 1940's. A tour took about 20-30 Minutes including a visit to small Adjacent book store. It was close to the interstate and easy to find. Very nice little diversion in an otherwise rather mundane drive.
