World's Largest always deserve a stop

a working weathervane in the heart of town, with a whole dedicate center to this awesome weathervane. It's worth the stop, it's worth the visit. and the best thing is, there's free no hassle parking at the grocery store parking lot. It's actually very impressive.

Another World’s Largest Marked on the List
This massive weathervane is located in front of the local grocery store. It’s fully functional and amazing to see it move with the direction of the wind. The whole town is adorable and on the coast so lots to do and see while you’re visiting the town of Montague.

    Functional attraction
The weathervane stands 48 feet tall. Located on the corner of Dowling St. and Water St. in front of local grocery store. Ample parking. The schooner on top of the weathervane is called Ella Ellenwood which was built in East Saginaw, Michigan in 1869. She was purchased by Captain Thomas Flagstad of Montague. Interesting story about the Schooner being broken up during a voyage and a piece of her found the way back home to White Lake Channel.
