Perfect place to stop

Beautiful stop with a little park, trails, and right on the water. We have small kids and they loved being able to get out of the car (driving to Canada) and stretch their legs. We planned only a 20 minute stop, but stayed an hour because the kids had so much fun!

    Beautiful preserve that was closer than expected
    We visited this preserve not knowing what to expect and were not disappointed. The preserve encompasses a meadow area, an old growth forest and access to the shores of West Lake. It has rolling hills and the trails were very easy to identify and follow. We enjoyed our visit and will definitely return to this preserve.

    Relatively flat hiking trail
    Fairly flat short hiking trail that takes you through open fields, woods, and along the shore of West Lake. Good to get out and stretch the legs a bit.
