Stunning & Enjoyable
First time playing and we really enjoyed it! The course was in excellent shape. We were the last ones out at 3:40pm and our last hole was 17 because it was getting fairly dark and there was a foursome ahead of us. My husband liked the course - but didn’t love it. He thought there were too many quirky holes, but that’s exactly why I loved it! The hilly woodlands were spectacular! When we first moved to the area last year, we spent 2 nights at the Inn. I would not recommend it. It was pricey and the accommodations are lackluster. Genuinely more like a shabby hotel than a champion golf course “inn.” But, you are limited on where you can stay in the area. The area’s rental homes and Airbnb’s are much better but then you don’t get the convenience of being on the course.

We went to the Friday fish fry only to find it was not just perch but shrimp also!
Waiting all week for this dinner we went early 5pm glad we did as it starts to get busy after 7pm. We heard of the dessert lava cake but just did not have room to enjoy so as we are in the area next week we will try it then. The menu changes as far as specials so call ahead for table time as they get groups -they have a main room and also side rooms there was a party of 70 while we were there the staff was on top of it. During winter months they are open only a few days per week 4pm-9. They have a sister location open 7 days hours are limited call!!
