Enjoy Lake Orion While Hearing About Its Past

What a pleasant way to experience Lake Orion! Riva has done an enormous amount of research and is so knowledgeable about the history of the lake. Her presentation is so interesting, and her photos and scrapbooks are well-organized and bring the past to life. You can picture the amusement park, dance hall, hotels and cottages that she describes along with pointing out their former locations. She also maneuvers her comfortable boat with skill and precision, making the whole experience feel safe and welcoming.

    Memories of Lake Orion
    Captain Riva is knowledgeable, articulate and entertaining. She was able to keep us involved and interested with her stories, pictures and history of Lake Orion. It was a relaxing way to spend an afternoon on the lake. Riva has researched and verified the information she shared. This is definitely a repeat experience .

    Whether new to Orion or Old Timer, a fun time for all
    'I Had a great time on Riva's tour. She has a great knowledge of the history of the lake and the Village of Lake Orion from its beginnings to the present. I've lived here for 29 years and still discovered new things in Riva's tour. It was also the first time I've actually been on the lake, and it is beautiful. So, whether you are new to the community, an old timer or just in for a visit, I recommend you take a ride with Riva.
