The Vogue Theatre, Michigan, United States

5.0 (46 reviews) Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Spent Ranking #5 in Manistee County Theaters

Great Vintage Cinema

I love old theaters and the Vogue doesn't disappoint. From the great facade outside to the retro atrium inside. The theater is a mix of retro and modern. Sadly it doesn't really have the great atmosphere of some old theaters, like there's no murals on walls or ceiling. The seats are acceptable, comfortable, but not much more. Screen is a tad small, but ok. The sound system seems very good. I saw Free guy and loved my experience. The service was very good and friendly. My rating is going to be based against historic theaters, not modern cinemas. On that criteria I give a full 5 stars. The faults are too minor compared to the feel of a historic theater. Would I return? You betcha! $7 ticket is worth it.

    A true gem ?
Sweetest movie theater anywhere! Vintage theater that’s been restored to its glory and is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. Become a supporting member and keep this gem going. Such a gem ? of a place. No visit to Manistee is complete without seeing a first run or classic movie at the Vogue!

    Vogue Theater was Great!
Amazing Experience. Went to a 4:00 Sunday movie of A Man Called Otto. The theater has a lot of history and completely updated. Only issue was no butter on the popcorn, but that was a minor issue. Not enough to give it less stars.
