"Ox"cellent!

There were lots of families there but it can also be a good bar scene. The food is always delicious. Everyone enjoyed what they had. Decent beer menu and good bar. We go almost every time we visit.

    Ox local bar/restaurant downtown.
    The Ox is probably the best restaurant in Oxford , good food , good drinks , good service good atmosphere . A little more $$ , but not to bad.

    Clean, Cozy, Delightful, Fresh and Family Friendly!
    We walked over from the Oxford Theaters that's less than a half mile away on a Sunday evening. We weren't sure what we would get, but kids were hungry. We were very pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was fresh and new. The servers were wonderful. Everything was clean. Wife and I had the Monte Cristo which were AWESOME! Kids had grilled cheese, which they gobbled down to the crusts. Fries were crisp and lightly seasoned. And strawberry margaritas were cheap ($5.50) and delicious. We are definitely adding this one to our staple. Two thumbs up and five stars!
