I took the loop route a few months ago. It was great. The equipment, staff and scenery were fantastic. Well worth the ride.

Adventure in Tecumseh
My wife and I recently rented a canoe and took the River Raisin loop trip. It's a great trip consisting of about half flat water and then a nice run down the river back to the start; as a result no shuttle needed. The trip is scenic and secluded allowing the paddler to imagine they are many miles from cities or traffic. That trip takes about an hour or so, but there are longer ones for folks with more time. The water moves along, but we always felt safe and would be comfortable taking young kids. This is an inexpensive trip for anyone looking for a quick getaway.

Lovely kayaking through lake/canal/river
Beautiful kayaking in lake/canal/river (we did the river loop). You get a 3 for 1 experience - kayaking in the calm lake, then through the scenic canal and then through a very twisty/scenic river. The only reason I didn't put it as 5 stars was that this was at peak of covid season and the staff was not wearing masks (and it was not as though there was a glass barrier or 6 foot distance between us. Apart from that, the service was very good and would recommend the place.
