Must-stop
We weren't able to tour the lighthouse, but it's still a very nice place to visit. You can park in the lot and can easily walk to the lighthouse as well as the beach. The entire area is very pretty and it was very fun for my 4 year-old son! Definitely a must-stop if you are in the area.

Nice lighthouse
Unlike the rest of Tawas Point State Park, this lighthouse is well taken care of. The lighthouse, buildings & gift shop were closed due to covid, but you can walk around it & take pictures. Take the short path from the parking lot. There's information boards telling you the history. We looked in the windows into the kitchen area. Looked nice.
