Our wedding vow renewal 2021

We were married on this beach in 2011 and came back for our 10-year anniversary wedding vow renewal on the beach. There was a little bit less beach now than there was 10 years ago but it is still very nice. One of the things I like about this beach is there's some good rock hunting to be done here. All the children and adults love the beach. It seems as beaches became a very popular place in the last 10 years. In the afternoon lots of people go get food at the bortell's food market and bring it here to the picnic tables to eat and to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lake Michigan. Kudos to Michigan Parks department for the wonderful playground equipment that they've added here for little kids. The bathrooms were also very nice here and very clean.

    Cute playground, nice private beach
We discovered this park this summer and came back again this fall. The kids love the pirate ship playground. Bathrooms were what you'd expect for public bathrooms. Little bit of a steep walk down to the beach but one of our favorite things to check out. If you can bring water shoes I would recommend that. The beach is very rocky. My kids love looking for fun rocks to bring home to paint.

    Beautiful Views
This is a great place to come for beautiful sunsets, for the kids to play, and enjoy a nice picnic. The beach has gotten smaller over the years, but there's plenty of other space around. There's also an indoor pavilion for weddings and family reunions. Indoor bathrooms as well. Please remember to keep our Michigan Coastline beautiful by picking up your trash!
