Perfect place for Picnic and many more activities
This place is nice for many activities. We have done camping here as well. It has nice lake for kayaking. Perfect for jogging, running, cycling. Nice trails. Many shelters and nice play area for kids.

    Bald Eagle Nest Location!!
It is NOT IN THE MAIN PARK! Drive north on Mound from 26 Mile Rd. After 29 Mile Rd. About half mile down there will be a road on the left called INWOOD RD......TURN LEFT (IGNORE ALL THE ROAD CLOSED SIGNS!) Drive for approx 1 mile after the bridge and then on the right side will be INWOOD PARK. Go to the map and follow path A to B then B to C. Once you get to C you will see a large swamp in front of you. Make a right at C and walk halk way around the pound.WHEN YOU GET NEAR HALF WAY LOOK UP TO THE RIGHT FAR BEHIND THE TREES IN FRONT OF YOU AND THERE YOU WILL SEE THE NEST UPON A 70 FT TALL WHITE PINE! Then take the boardwalk on the pond to the end and look back at the dead trees in the distance.....the eagles will fly into these trees. BE PREPARED TO STAY AN HOUR OR 2 UNTIL YOU SEE AMERICA's MOST BEAUTIFUL BIRD!
