Waterfowl by the Acre

Now is the time of year to see all the migrating waterfowl and this place will not disappoint! In the spring and fall are the best times to view ducks, geese and swans along with other migratory birds, however spring is the best and depending on the winter mid March to April is the best time!

    Not sure how to describe....
There is a large covered, enclosed aviary in this park, where a visitor can see various local waterfowl. However, during winter months, I am not sure where the waterfowl are. I visited on a warm Spring weekday in early April, and found no birds. The village offices state the park (known locally as Waterfowl Park) is open year round. I take that meaning as having waterfowl available to be seen! The park itself isn't much-- one picnic table, one old bench set on the banks of the Bad River. Large shade trees. Parking on the side street. There is also a boat ramp into the river, off of a dirt parking lot, which is good sized.
