Southern Links Trailway, Michigan, United States
5.0 (6 reviews) Spent Ranking #1 in Millington Hiking Trails
There is an incline
This is a beautifully maintained trail from Millington to Columbiaville. It is 10.8 miles one way, or 20.16 round-trip. There are portable restrooms on each end of the trail and a nice little convenient store at the halfway point in Otterville. There is a slight elevation both to and from Millington and if you are not an experienced cyclist you will notice it. Overall it was a beautiful trail and I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful bike ride
We started in Columbiaville on a beautiful fall day enjoying the colors and rolling hills. North of Otter Lake is especially pretty. Had a nice lunch in Millington and then rode back.

Cycling the Southern Links Trailway
Recently bicycled the Southern Links Trailway from Millington to Columbiaville and back. It is short (10.8) miles, but one of the best trails I've ridden. It is paved the entire way and very well maintained. It is relatively flat, a slight rise in the middle just enough so there is a slight downhill at the ends. The scenery is nice with enough shade for hot days. The small town of Otter lake is about half way. There is even a bike shop along the trail. For anyone who is a bicycle tourist, it is part of US Bike Route 20 and has a campground at Otter Lake. The only thing that could be improved is signage that would indicate the beginning of the trail in Millington. (Its at the School).
