Wonderful Wine Tasting Experience
We were on a road trip in Michigan and chose Shady Lane Cellars as my wine tasting experience. I was not disappointed. What a wonderful choice for wine tasting. The outdoor patio atmosphere of the wine tasting combined with the friendly and knowledgeable staff made our short time a rewarding experience. The wines were excellent and I brought 2 bottles home with me. My husband was my designated driver and he was able to have a glass of apple cider while I had my wine tasting. It was a win-win. Shady Lane Cellars is a must-stop if you are traveling in the Leelanau Peninsula winery country. Wine, atmosphere, friendliness of staff and relaxation are are top notch.

Gorgeous grounds and very good wines
I've been drinking these wines for years now but have never made it to the winery in person. It is beautiful! I love the shade sails they have up to provide sun protection but there are lots of lovely places to sit in the sun as well if you prefer. The snack options here were tasty and we enjoyed a small 3 glass tasting as well. They offer discounts for purchasing multiple bottles, which we did, and the main building is very pretty. Nice restrooms as well.

Beautiful Winery, Great wine
Stopped at this winery and were blown away by the scenery and patio area. We were greeted by the bartenders at the outside bar and picked out two flights each-competitively priced for the area. The flights were then labeled and delivered to us outside on the patio. They had several areas to sit with ample shade and beautiful gardening. We enjoyed most of their wine and even left with a few bottles. We will definitely be back to restock!
