I finally stopped in!
After driving by this destination for 47 years, I finally was driving by at a time that they were open and I had some time to spare. Can't believe what a gem I've been missing all this time! Sea Shell City is a great little (big, actually) gift shop with something for everyone that likes water (and the north woods). The addition of a candy counter is perfect and overall it offered us a great little place to stretch our legs. I can only hope that the next time I am driving by I will have time to stop again.

Fun Tourist Store
We stop here every time we go to Mackinac/UP. Lots of nautical-themed décor, books, toys, and even mystery packages for sale. It's a good place to stretch your legs or pick up souvenirs on your way further north. Young kids have fun on the pirate ship playset too. The only downside is the location: it's too close to Mackinaw City. Who wants to stop and stretch their legs here when a better destination is a few minutes away? It's not a "must see" but still a fun place to stop.

Interesting souvenir shop
Stopped here with grandkids on our way back home from camping. I'd stopped before a few years back. There used to be some really cool oddities from the sea on display that aren't there any more but it is a big gift shop and the kids wanted some last minute souvenirs of their trip.
