More than just books
This is a little gem tucked away in the sleepy communities of Salem Township and South Lyon. There is ALWAYS something going on whether it is a nature walk or tai chi or a class on the newest computer enhancements. The people who work here are a large part of the reason that this library is so highly regarded by those who are in on the secret of what a great place this is.

Great People and helpful with research
I have used this library for years-the entire staff is friendly, super helpful and capable. I was doing some research a couple years ago and they were instrumental in finding and getting me the books that I needed.

Good Community Library
A reasonable selection of books for a community of South Lyon's size. They are expanding the electronic selections and the computer access. They do have a number of children's and adult programs year round. They do remove older books/media that are not circulating to make room for new items on a regular basis so there are always new selection.
