Little hidden or open piece of heaven on earth
Peaceful spot, safe and healthy fresh air, Use to stay part time with my brother in law in shields when his brother (my husband) and I wanted to get away or just be it was perfect, Our son...now 8 was about 5 then and he could ride his power wheel and bike without anyone fussing over their lawn ...was a nature friendly LIL piece of hidden heaven here in Saginaw when it's not so easy to be alone always

Nice biking and running path
Well maintained , this 25 mile stretch goes all the way to St. Charles. We used to do this trail a lot with our kids on bikes and end up at The Freezer for lunch in St. Charles and go swimming across the street at the municipal park. There is a “rest area” in about 3.5 miles from Stroebel, but make sure to pack water (and snacks, if you have younger kids). Heavily tree lined, it’s pleasant, even on a hot day.

Love this trail
This rail trail is well maintained. The trail is paved and smooth. There is a side trail that goes to several eateries in Saginaw. There was plenty of parking when we were there. Distance round trip with extension was around 24 miles.
