No dogs. Wonderful hiking through gorgeous woods to lovely bluffs and Lake Michigan
Wonderful hiking through gorgeous woods to lovely bluffs and Lake Michigan. Surprisingly rugged topography with many stairs but a good workout. No pets allowed so no dog poop or overly friendly dogs jumping on you to worry about. We went on a weekday during the Fall so it wasn't too crowded and they didn't charge for parking but I imagine that parking in the very small lot would be difficult to find.

A step or two or three-hundred
This is a very pretty natural area with stairs to the beach through the woods & over the sand dunes. It is a great place for a walk; I would not recommend the beach only because of having to lug chairs, umbrellas, tents, coolers, etc up & down the stairs. Highly recommend it for a short nature hike (I'm not kidding about the # of stairs).

Great Exercise
Went for a few hikes here. A definitely good way to get some exercise in. Can be tiring and there are many stairs and hills. Once you’ve done the hike there’s the lake at the end with a fantastic view of Lake Michigan.
