Cool older theater upstairs, some interesting "ghost" history there. It was a neat place to poke around and learn a little about eaton rapids

Historic Temperance Society Hall
Red Ribbon Hall was built in 1878 as a temperance hall. It was affiliated with the "Red Ribbon" movement again drinking alcohol. The building then served as a cultural center, an opera house and for the last 91 years as a Masonic Hall. A beautiful building with a State of Michigan historical marker. Stop, read the sign and see the building which has stood for 137 years.

An interesting chapter in the local temperance movement
The building is in nice shape and the historical marker notes the role of the Red Ribbon Society in the local temperance movement. You'll see a bit more of it when the leaves are off the trees as the tree in front blocks some of the view.
