Rayburn tract
While fly fishing near the rayburn tract it was getting dark and I was crossing the bridge to get back to my car. While on the bridge I starting casting my fly rod letting on line after line. I had lots of line out casting back and forth. It was so much fun just seeing how much line I could cast.

Easy ski trail close to town
This is an ungroomed ski trail just to the east of Grayling. The parking area is easy to miss and unmarked with the exception of a small street sign. The trail is flat and unremarkable until coming upon the wooden bridge over the Au Sable. The scenery at that point is worth the trip there. This is one of the prettiest rivers meandering through Michigan.

lovely easy and flat trail crossing the AuSable River
Great little 4 mile trail that crosses the Ausable river. Flat so quite easy to cross country ski or run on. Beautiul pines and you cross a wooden bridge. The trail goes from North Down river Road to M-72. Close to the river is a wide open field - great place for a picnic.
