Much better than Pirates Cove
So much better than Pirate's Cove next store. Overheard people at Pirate's Cove saying look at how much better the golf holes are at Putt R Golf. They were 100 percent right plus you save enough money for ice cream. Could be cared for a little better and some money to fix a few things but we make the trip once a year from Bay City to play this course.

Sad to see it gone
I was so extremely sad to drive out to this magical place to play a round last time I was in the area (August 2022) only to see it closed down, all grown over with grass and weeds and debris and a for sale sign. It broke my heart. It was one of my favorite places to go as a kid and as an adult. The Pirates Cove one next door (though possibly the same owners) is too slick, modern, typical and no shade. The Putt-R-Golf course was classic - the kind of thing you just don't see these days. I am so very sad to see it like this. If I had the money, I'd buy it and restore it to its (vintage) hey day. It's such a special place. Or it was, anyway.

Vintage
This place reminded me of putt putting when I was a kid. A lot of the course looked vintage. It was challenging which made it fun. It was a great price for 3 to play. It also was a lot less crowded than the one next door that is why we chose this one
