Great canoeing and kayaking fun for the family
We have canoed here many times over the past 25 years. The equipment and service has always been excellent. I highly recommend Penrod's if you are thinking about an AuSable canoe or kayak adventure. I will be back with my adult children and grandchildren.

First time yakers
Our family of 4 experienced our first kayaking trip ever. We chose Penrods in Grayling and couldn’t have been happier. We are all still talking about this trip weeks later. The staff was absolutely top notch from the time we arrived to our departure. All of them were kind and went above and beyond in customer service. We even witnessed great team work with another company where our kayaks were picked up from the river. We chose a 2.5hr trip and it was perfect. We will definitely be back. Our ages ranged from 11 to 49.

Fun!!
I highly recommend Penrods. We only rent from them, and have used their services for years. The team is so professional, positive, assist with new guests, give details about your trip and are so helpful when you end your trip. We have a great time, and would always recommend Penrods!
