A Very Good Assortment of Friendly Vendors
We stopped by for some fresh veggies and left with those plus cheese, baked goods and some perennial plants. Every vendor we talked to was extremely friendly. Good parking, too. A well-run market!

Thursday Showcase
We enjoy the farmers’ market but found prices to be comparable to retail at big box stores. For example, flats of flowers are the same or higher than local nurseries. In season vegetables are reasonable and fresh. Most vendors are friendly. There are wagons available but we always take our own. If you plan on being there awhile, take sunscreen. Very little shade. Ample parking. They sell hotdogs and burgers but prices are expensive. Positive- one of the better ran markets. Negative- losing its small town, market vibe. Too commercialized. Maybe I am too old and just miss the days of handmade signs and veggies displayed in bushel baskets. Definitely a must see at least once during May through October. Again, know your prices before going.
