Not a great place.
They don't have my kind of beer on tap (a very common type), the food is expensive, and the place is really small. There are much better bars within two miles, so I don't waste my time there.

Melissa is the worst server
As a life long resident of Clio I occasionally visit the Nite-Cap tavern. It used to be a fun, friendly place to relax and have a beer. I was there at 11:30 pm on a Tuesday. There was only one other patron when I arrived. Melissa served me two drinks. He left and a couple arrived. Melissa spent the evening speaking to them. Melissa never once looked my way nor asked if I wanted anything else. I waited a full 20 minuets before I asked if she knew I was still there. A good server will ALWAYS be attentive and aware of their guest's. Exceptional guest service is the backbone of any establishment. The Nite-Cap has seen better days. I have worked in the food and beverage business for 35 years. I at least expect to be treated as a valued customer where ever I go. The Nite-cap tavern owner needs to more properly train and supervise his servers. Good, no, EXCEPTIONAL customer service can be taught.
