It’s a nice little arcade but most shops are closed.
It seems every time I visit this place almost everything is closed. Must be bad timing on my part. But Comet coffee is always open and that’s why I go here. It’s a pretty cool little arcade. Check it out.

Wish all cities had an arcade!
I really like Nickels Arcade. Very few cities have them as they’re old fashioned but each city should have one as an upscale shop and dining venue. They’re classy and allow a place for bespoke commerce.

A European Style Galleria.
Nickels Arcade reminds me of some of the gallerias you often see in Europe, such as the the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan, although not nearly as large or as grand. This historic covered arcade with skylight, runs from State street to Maynard street. On either side of the passage are shops selling a variety of goods. A few that stood out were an antique store and a gift shop, as well as a place for coffee. Worth a look if you're in the area.
