Great lunch for extended family

Second time we've been. Had a great lunch experience both times. If you're looking for a wide variety of bar food and some Michigan draft beers, this is the place in East Tawas. They have plenty of indoor and shaded outdoor seating. We had a party of six and did not have to wait on a July Saturday. Server was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely go back when we are back in town next summer. BONUS- Across the street is Klenow's Market which has a great selection of jerky and other local food items.

    Tigers Home Opener
My husband and I enjoy everything we have tried . The atmosphere is fun. They attract a range of customers both young and old. Along with the employees the customers are friendly too. It's one of my families favorite place to go. Everything is homemade. So unusual anymore. The fried pickles and onion rings are particularly good. The portions are ample. Prices are good too!

    Lunch visit was just OK
We stopped for lunch and I ordered the whitefish fingers. What I GOT was a whitefish DINNER, which was TOO much for lunch and the agenda for the day didn't allow take-away containers, not to mention it was double the cost. It was an awkward group to make a fuss with, so I didn't mention this to our waitress. The fish was really good, though and the olive sauce (which I ordered to dip my fries in) was pretty decent. We were there early, and there seemed to be too many wait-staff who were straightening out their plan for the day at a table next to ours (with a bit of whiney tone). At one point the cook came out of the kitchen looking for someone to pick up the food he had finished with. To sum it up: The food was decent, waitstaff didn't seem to have their poop in a group, but if it's a nice day you can eat outside (but there isn't a water view from that location), and the food was pretty good (albeit a bit heavy/greasy for lunch)
