Interesting dog cemetery

While this cemetery has many older sites with pets, it has been re-established as a war dog cemetery and caters to service dogs. The site has been updated, headstones exposed and new improvements installed, including dedicated parlking. I highly recommend a visit as the displays are educational and the experience is interesting. There are only 1 or 2 of these war dog cemeteries in the US.

    Beautiful Tribute
There has been so much work done at this memorial that it's unbelievable. Before it was overgrown with brush and weeds and now it's a peaceful, beautiful memorial. The people the poured their blood, sweat and tears into this place should be commended for what they've accomplished. We attended a memorial service last summer for a War Dog and it was so touching. What a wonderful place to lay these special military dogs to rest.

    Unappreciated
This is a cemetery that honors dogs that served in military and law enforcement. Cemetery was previous a pet cemetery dating back to early 1900s there even is a Parrott buried that belong to admiral Dewey. This is now mostly military with dogs that did incredible missions. The wall honors the 4000 dogs left behind when we pulled out of Vietnam. This is a must see it is hard not to shed a tear
