Most amazing magical place
Amazing experience. We go every year, we've built a community with the people, we always buy the royal passes and they're always worth it. I would recommend anyone to go here. You should at least take a whole weekend two days to experience it all for yourself. My whole family loves it.

Way too Crowded - even for a RenFaire
3 Stars purely based on the fact that Ren Faires in general, are awesome - the flavor, the friendly people, the atmosphere - all great. I've been to several RenFaires throughout the US, and this was the absolute worst due to overcrowding. Just over an hour in line for a beer (68 min). Our friends that we talked into coming with us (3 hour drive) gave up after 1.5 hours in line for a Turkey leg - that would easily have been another hour, if not more. By 2PM the kids were starving (heck, everyone was starving). Each line (every..line, from cotton candy to the ATM) was prohibitively long, viewing areas for events / shows were so packed you couldn't see. They really need to set some kind of limit to preserve the experience, or expand the number of days they offer to spread out the crowds a bit. Something..

Muddy mess
We sat in a long line about 30 minutes to get into the parking area there was a lot of people directing us to park in different areas We attended the event which was mediocre at best mostly people trying to sell us crap. When we tried to leave there was no one to help keep traffic moving with some kind of order. We sat for one hour in one spot and then started to move only to keep getting cut in front of by rude people who didn’t want to wait at all. Police were present but useless. Worst experience I’ve had in five different visits to this event. We were assaulted by people who cut in front of us when we tried to get them behind us. Not sure we will ever come back if we do we will be better armed.
