Scenic Winery with Good Wines & Views
This is an excellent winery on the east side of the Mission Peninsula offering scenic views of vineyards and Grand Traverse Bay. On a very busy Saturday, it was crowded and there was a wait list to be seated. Outside seating only offered wines by the glass and inside was wine tasting. We opted for outside and luckily had a table with umbrella on this warm sunshine day. Other outside seating were couches and chairs or picnic tables. Sitting outside we enjoyed their Chardonnay, Late Harvest Riesling and Roso Red wine. It was relaxing looking out over vineyards and the Bay even with the crowds. Inside in the Tasting Room is a magnificent mural done in wine corks.

Beautiful View
Our party of 6 had a reservation allowing us table service instead of standing in line to order, and we got an outside table versus fending for a rock or picnic table. The wine, service, and views were good. Because of Covid the indoor space was extremely limited, mostly for restroom use and merchandising. We were lucky to have a warm, sunny day; I’m not sure how Mari will fend in the rain or cold. The place was very busy with patrons which was entertaining for people watching but not for intimacy.
