Nice to walk along the river

Pretty views on the River. Stopped in a pub overlooking the water. Nice day to enjoy now that things are opening up. Very relaxing scenic area, was winter so cold but we come here often when traveling north. Summer has boats using the causeway and it’s cool to see the bridge lift to let the taller ships thru.

    Nice walk
    This walkway along the river starts at many areas downtown and goes to Lake Michigan. At one time it was not open all the way. The walk is an easy boardwalk path with shaded areas and ramps instead of stairs. Nice views of fishing boats coming in or people pleasure boating. At the end is a beach area and views of the lighthouse.

    Fantastic run/walk along the riverwalk!
    The riverwalk is very interesting as it runs along the river shoreline walking past boats and the downtown area then runs out over the water, wandering back to shore and the sandy area to the beach and on out to the pier. It's great for a stroll or an early morning run. Beautiful!
