The Municipal Marina is the place to be!
The Manistee Municipal marina is top notch. While the river experienced a rare seiche in April which took out a number of docks, the marina is open for business. All new docks are expected to be complete by next spring. The ammentities building is very nice and still has that new smell. Best of all, Laura, a harbor master, is beyond compare in assisting with dockage, local information, and being on top of her game. The town of Manistee also offers a historic, yet fully functional downtown and history galore. This is a can't miss place by boat or by car. We will be back!

Pleasure
We love his Marina. They have a great main building with lounge and showers. You won't find a cleaner place. Marina is well located to town and restaurants. Sometimes there are these large ships that come in to deliver down the river. It's very interesting to experience . On some nights they have wonderful concerts on the beach. Needless to say the sunsets from Manistee are wonderful. I do not have my log book with me so I am missing a name. Forgive me. The harbor master here is a 10. She is Johny on the spot and will do anything for you. She has been there for years. She's great! We always try to make this port on our sailing excursions.

First class service
We have visited this marina several times in the last few years. I just didn't think about reviewing marinas until now. This marina has a first class facility, with a very convenient and modern boaters lounge. Clean as you will ever see in a marina. But the key to this marina is the harbor master Laura. She is professional, warm, friendly and is most interested in her customers experience. We will always make this a harbor we stop in on our travels.
