4th of July at Mackinaw City
You cn see 4th of July fireworks coming from four locations: St Ignace, Mackinaw Island. Che boygan, and of course Mackinaw City. Mackinaw City has Symphony Music at the bandshell prior to fireworks. You could also take a 'fireworks cruise' , but sometimes it is cooland windy on the water.

Off season
There is so many interesting things related to the Marina in Mackinaw City. Whenever we had time, we were going there, watching boats or ferry leaving the port or coming back from the trip. There is a lot of interesting things if you have a camera and you like to use it.... Because it was off season, there was a lot of sail boats pulled out of the water, waiting for the winter. There is the Icebreaker nearby, so you can go there and visit an American Icon. From the distance you can see Elevator Tower-relict from the past, when there was no bridge built yet. I recommend this place even if you have no boat. RomanP
