Awesome bookstore!
This bookstore is awesome! Hundreds and hundreds of books- new and used! We had a lot of fun exploring all the books. The staff was helpful and friendly as well. There is a bakery attached too. We will be definitely back!

You could spend hours in here, or your wife can and you can go across the street to several different bars.
So much to take in! I think you would have to go many times to enjoy all the coolness! I found an old Boy Scout stories book for my brother-in-law. My sister bought a Nancy Drew from 1934 and started reading it in the car while my wife was still shopping. Books everywhere. My wife bought the new David Sedaris book and "Cross Creek" from the 1940s or so. It had a book report or notes inside that where hand written many years ago. This is a lot like Powell's bookstore in Portland Oregon. Lego section, greeting cards. They are adding a bakery that will probably open in May or June?

In town for HarmonyFest and was happy to come across Lowry's Books! It's been a while since I was in a bookstore of this scope, with its many rooms (upstairs and downstairs) and shelves chockfull of books. It was busy inside so I had to explore on my own, and found a few books. Thankfully one of the staff came around to check on folks and ask if they needed help in finding anything. Although the shelves are marked and some of the aisles, you really need a good map or key to find specific sections. I was happy to find interesting books that I wasn't even looking for...at very reasonable prices! Saw some treasures in their as well. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stop for a visit!
