Clear water
Beautifully clear water. We had so much fun swimming. The beach we were at was a little small. Surrounding burtchville was a little run down, but overall we had a great time. We would go back again. We might try a different part of Lake Huron first though

Beautiful beach-no privacy parking lot camping
The best part of camping at Lakeport State Park is the access to a beautiful beach with clear, rocky Lake Huron to swim in. Second, the bathrooms and showers are kept very clean, kudos to the staff. The campsites are cramped and open, leaving no privacy. You might as well set up in a Wal-Mart parking lot. We're not coming back.
