Kurtzhals’ Farms is a great place to visit and shop. I enjoy being there. The layout of this nursery and farm is very easy to navigate. Great wide aisles and plenty of merchandise. I was very pleased with the health of the plants that we were looking at. When I got the plants home and put them in the soil they established themselves quickly and maintained their vigor. They don’t seem to force the plants and that’s great. When a nursery does that when you get the great looking plant home you could find yourself with a sad, wilting plant the next day that you need to bring back to health. Their displays are quaint, simple, well done and bring out the beauty and interest of what they are selling without overwhelming the shopper with price tag mania. If you have young children keep an eye on them. It is a working farm and therefore presents some of the hazards to be found at any farm. The place is kept clean, it is well lit and has suitable parking. It is easy in and out of the parking lot, but watch for traffic, of course, because it’s a two lane road just outside. Look for the great big stone sign on the corner and you can’t miss it!
