Started off negatively, ended very positively
Upon arriving with a group of 7 family members, I was a bit apprehensive we were going to have fun. The woman taking our information down was visibly frazzled with the amount of people and multiple cards for payment. She seemed unable to explain what she needed and from whom succinctly so there was a bit of a communication breakdown at the beginning. A bit later we learned that the previous night's storm had knocked out their power so she couldn't process payments at the time, which is why she was writing everything down and stressed. After that got taken care of, however, I had a great time and I think everyone else did as well. The gentleman running the show was courteous (COVID masks worn at all times) and knowledgeable. For those in the group that had never ridden before, he was a good teacher. The trails were wet due to the aforementioned storm, which I was happy about but worried about the $30 extra charge if my ATV came back "excessively muddy." It did not, despite my best efforts. (This is due to the fact that I think they really mean excessive, and the ATVs having throttle governors on them so you can't go give it everything its got.) The ATVs were all new Honda Rancher 420's for single riders. Double up riding ATVs were Can-Am Outlanders, probably 650. The good far exceeded the bad for our visit. The bad was simply a miscommunication that was rectified when we found out there was no power.

    First time on ATV's
We had a blast riding the ATVs. Kenny, one of the owners, was welcoming, courteous and very thorough when going over the controls. After a short ride around to show your proficiency, you're let loose to explore 120 acres of awesome trails. Lots of twists and turns, hills and bridges to explore. The best part is they don't hover over you while you are riding; you are free to go at your own pace...as long as it's less than 10mph :) I was a bit hesitant on one of the steeper inclines and Curtis (one of the young workers) was there to guide me to less hilly terrain. He was so kind and patient and it truly helped me gain my confidence! From there, I had no problems with any of the trails and was so peaceful driving under the tree canopy. No place ON the Atv to hold your purse or phone, so wear a jacket with pockets and you're set. They will also take photos of you and your guests when you return to the start. Yes, you wear a mask during the check-in process in office and then may remove them once you're set free :)
