    Wonderful Saturday morning outing
With the exception of the Farmers Market at the Ferry Building in San Francisco, the Bank Street FM in Kalamazoo is the best I've ever been to. When I'm in Kalamazoo in the summer, there is nothing I'd rather do than while away a Saturday morning at the Bank St. Market. I'm always awed by the bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables and flowers, mushrooms and cheese, baked goods, organic eggs and poultry, meats, and an array of crafts. On a recent visit we sampled a sausage and peppers sandwich and a pasty while we listening to a musician playing and singing old hits. We smiled at children laughing and playing as their parents and grandparents greeted friends and neighbors. We bought peaches and corn and tomatoes and green beans and berries and cheese spread and a bundle of herbs and a jar of jam and a T-shirt. Grab a seat at a picnic table: observe the essence of community and enjoy the simplest of pleasures.

    Great Socks!
Lots of vendors. Mostly organic products. Recommend the alpaca socks…pricy but awesome! Needs more food options for lunch. Two food trucks with Mexican food and one with sausage sandwiches.
