Gorgeous on a fall day!
We had a wonderful time exploring the overlooks as well as the lower boardwalk at Iargo Springs. It’s beautiful in autumn. It was also mobbed, with little mask wearing in tight spaces. The 300 steps down to the river and the springs themselves are well worth the effort.

Love this place!
If you love nature this is for you! The sound of water over the "mini" falls and the streams running through are so relaxing. The boardwalk is well built as you walk through the woods and amazing views of the AuSable at the end. Tons of steps at first to get there and back up but worth it! Tip: do these steps and not the ones at Lumberman down the street (do the trails there).

Stunning, peaceful springs
This was hands down the best stop on the River Road Scenic anyway. It is 300 steps to get down (and back up) but there are platforms and benches along the way to stop and rest. When you get down to the bottom, there is a long network of boardwalks and lookout points along the River. We had thought that the springs was just 1 spring (the water falling over the logs that is in so many pictures). It’s actually a huge network of springs. It is so peaceful, I could have spent longer there just listening to the springs and enjoying the sounds of nature. I can see why the Native Americans viewed it as a spiritual place because I felt it!
