Nice Float on the Platte
We rented tubes at the Honor Trading Post of the 1 1/2 hour float of the Platte River with our two teens (14/16). The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. They made a very busy day in the area, due to the beautiful weather, organized and easy. Would recommend to anyone.

Beautiful, Serene
This is a beautiful trip and it's suitable for everyone! The river is shallow and relaxing, and you move with the flow of the water. The trip can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on how quickly you go. The trip ends just before the river empties into lake Michigan. There is a park where you can enjoy the view and grill outside. You can also swim or wade across the river to access a beautiful beach. The staff at Honor Post is very friendly and they make the trip very easy, even if you have never kayaked before.
