Camping
Usually camp in the UP of Michigan but decided to give this park a try. Sites of all sizes, nice, new and clean bath house, sites on the lake, a lot of trees throughout the park. Beach is very nice and good for rock hunters.

New Bathrooms!!!
The last time we stayed at Harrisville, both bathrooms buildings were from the 1950's (no exaggeration). This year they have new bathrooms, yay!!!! The new building is located where the little park was near the beach. We also like this state park because you can ride your bike to town to eat, get groceries, etc. Also, you can rent bikes if you don't bring your own.

Camping & beach
On the map it said "undeveloped". I don't think that it is. We came to the gate & asked the girl what there was to do for day visitors. There's the beach. One trail. The campground if you're staying longer. She let us drive the very short park road to the beach to look around, then we left. We didn't drive to the campground. It didn't make sense to pay $9 for out of state admission to do one short hike.
