Lovely library

Tours are offered, but librarian offered highlights and a pamphlet since there were not scheduled at the time I arrived. Only in town briefly but enjoyed the stop.

    Really cool building an interior
Right next to Art Museum. Cool bldg. from 1888. Lots of stained glass and original photos inside the library. Was a delightful stop!

    Muskegon's Finest Library
This opened in 1890 and was a gift from Lumber Baron, Charles Hackley to the city of Muskegon Public Schools. It has original wood from that era but is up to date on ebooks, computer room and geneology. They have many events, classes and live performances, many free!! It's a treat STILL for me to go down the marble staircase and the stained glass througout!! Also, the staff is very helpful!!
