Such a lovely place!
We attended the 1950's style Coffee Klatch in the Simmons-Hill House and had a lovely and fun time! It was definitely something different to do. The home is beautiful. It has original furnishings so it's historically authentic. We didn't really get to see the rest of the village, but would be happy to attend another event here any time.

Historical park
Always go for their large yard sale in the Spring and fall. Just a wonderful place to drive-in hang out and check out the gardens as well as pick up some grass and have a picnic

Very Nice
This park hosts the Highland Games each year. It is the perfect place to view the mass bands marching in the field. The buildings are very nicely maintained. Lots of space to have caber toss, wee barns and dog agility displays.
