Art Deco fun and beautiful winery- just ok wines
We wanted to like the wines here because the atmosphere and grounds are so fun and inviting. If you like sweet, syrupy wines, this is the place for you. We loved the large outdoor patio and grounds ...the tasting room was industrial modern with Art Deco themes so it was very lively to be there. The staff was extremely helpful, fun and nice ...their tastings were organized and we felt safe even with a crowd during the pandemic. It’s definitely a must-try and we would come back just to sit on that patio.

Used to be our favorite, now.....not so much
Ok lets start out with the good, staff was extremely friendly, the layout of the tasting room and location on the property is gorgeous and well decorated. That was about it with the good. The bad: All of the wines were horrible! Mind you this used to be our favorite winery but wow did the wine go down hill fast. Wines were either very bland with almost no flavor or they tasted exactly like a dirty dish rag smells. Even our prior favorites tasted horrendous. The driveway is all dirt and mud. Ok so I understand budgets tight gotta keep overhead down....I get it but at least do gravel. Nope all dirt which was mud yesterday. Come on those that go wine tasting are typically not wearing farm boots to tromp through the mud after parking in mud and tall grasses because the only parking lot you have is full. (Guessing it only holds 30 cars at best.) We were also told that Red Top was their sister property. Not sure if this is a new partnership or it was prior. It wouldn't surprise me if it was newer because Redtop used to be our least liked and gravity was our most liked. If they were always under the same umbrella that would be an odd coincidence to have both ends of the spectrum.
