Beautiful and quiet nature walks abound!
We are always looking for ways to enjoy the natural beauty wherever we vacation. This series of hiking trails did not disappoint. They are clearly marked and the visitor's center had friendly personnel, who made a point to ask about what we wanted to do and see in the area. She directed us to beautiful Barnes Park on Lake Michigan and to a public beach access on Torch Lake, as well as an Antrim County park and hiking area which also had Lake Michigan beach access.

Outdoor fun for the whole family.
We visit as a family often, every season. Grass River has friendly and helpful staff. A clean and interactive nature center. The trails are well marked and groomed. Cross country skiing in the winter or hiking/jogging the rest of the year is regenerating, to say the least. The trails travel through woods, over streams and visit the striking views of the lake. The quiet is amazing.

slice of heaven and side of nature
This is a place for tired souls to rejuvenate. A place to unwind and leave stressful, busy noises and distractions of the world behind. Thank God for this beautiful place because it cleans the water and is refuge for wild life. Wake your nose up to a symphony wild flowers, sand and trees.
