Stumbled upon this in Park and history lovers will like it.
There are a couple memorials in the Algonac Memorial park that are not listed. I hhave photos with the explanation of the statue and the emorial with the written history on it. The Garfield Arthur wood memorial celebrates a man's life as an industrialist, inventor, his boat building abilities and his racing of boats. It is a nice memorial in a nice setting in the park and should be included on Trip Advisor as a landmark or historic site.
