Sandy beach with bathrooms
We love staying at Harbor Lights Resort which is across the street from Frankfort beach. There are swing sets a permanent bathroom in the parking lot. It’s a nice walk down the pier but it is farther than it looks. They have a light system in front of the pier to let you know if it’s safe (red, amber, green) the lake bottom is sandy. It is located at the end of Main street. Parking is limited and NO motorhomes or trailers allowed.There are also permanent benches and a couple bench swings by the water. Fishing off the pier. Come and enjoy.

Beautiful beach and town!
We visited last week on a Friday and the beach is very large but also very crowded. Due to Covid we hung in the back but the views were awesome. Walking back thru the residential areas to the downtown area was fun. So much to see and do!

Top 3 Beach
A very nice beach that feels like it's the heart of Frankfort. The views are spectacular , especially when storming or ?. The sand is pristine and one of my favorite things is the plethora of benches. Normally your lucky for 4 or 5. It feels like there's 80+ here. Watching the large waves crash into the pier creating giant splashes is an awesome sight. The lighthouse at the end of the pier is very nice, nothing spectacular, but a classic none the less. There always seems to be people surfing and sailboarding. Plus people playing with kites. Overall an easy 5 star review! Would I return? You betcha!
