Nice sandcastle competition
We went to the park to enjoy the sandcastle competition they were having. Good display. A lot of true artists out there. It was my first time in the area so me and my wife also walked up the lighthouse to get a better view of the lake and Canada . We had a nice time.

Great park
This park is awesome! Flush toilets are always clean (though sandy). Beach & water are rocky, though. Parking is a bit challenging; there can be quite a hike down to the water.

This place is awesome
Best thing about it it's free to get in. lots of beach, Pavillions to rent for special occasions, There is a platform over looking the lake perfect spot for a wedding, some history as well, And there is a play ground for kids. But watch out for poison ivy if your walking around wooded areas. They do have it posted where the poison ivy is. they do have paved trails to hike thru and dog friendly except on the beach well worth checking out
