Great Spot for Sunset
We were in Michigan in October so really wasn't beach weather, but this beach was a great location to see the sunset. Because of the time of year, the sunset was setting behind the lighthouse. We didn't even have to get out of the car to watch it in the cold breeze, you had a perfect view.

TOP MICHIGAN BEACH IN MY OPINION
Such an amazing beach. I couldn't believe they had fire rings to use with wood available for purchase. That's a special touch. Quiet beach, extrememly clean, great pavilion, loved walking the pier. I could have stayed there all night it was so relaxing.

5th Ave Beach
We stumbled across this beach when visiting the lighthouse and pier. Lots of parking, really beautiful and clear water. Public restrooms, concession stands, and free parking all right beside the beach. While the first street beach got lots of waves the day that we were there, the 5th street beach had no waves as the pier blocked them all. Something worth keeping an eye on depending on if you want waves or not!
