This charming old fashioned movie theater is a gem
Showing the best new movies with friendly prices and friendly staff. Movies are free for members. Voted Best Movie Theater in Detroit 2017-2022 in the WDIV Vote 4 the Best contest. Old-time, nostalgic feel with digital projection, Dolby Surround 7.1 and modern, comfortable seating. Many wonderful eateries nearby for food before or after a movie.

A first rate local gem that keeps getting better
Ah...Catching a movie at the Civic in downtown Farmington makes for a pleasant, enjoyable night out any night of the week.... the walk up is pleasant as you stroll the brick streets up Grand River Ave. The Farmington Brewery, John Cowley's Irish Pub, Basement Burger Bar are actually, literally and figuratively "right next door" and that's just a sampling of dining choices. This historic well preserved community jewel dates back to 1957....and that's a lot of popcorn ! Good times!

Good find
This is our go to theater for viewing movies that have left the main theaters but we didn't have time to see them. It is very affordable. My only complaint is that their popcorn prices have risen dramatically.
